Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I am a man who loves life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. In 2009 I graduated from Florida State University with a bachelors of arts in music. During my education I worked with Florida States school of theater and dance. After graduation I landed a job with Holland America Cruise Line being a musician on there number one ship in 2011. I have also spent about two years in New Orleans studying the beginnings of American popular music as well as performing with a french quarter jazz quartet for over a year. Read More

My approach is focused very much on performance, technicalities, and theory. I believe it is very important for the student to understand how these aspects of playing coincide with each other, and how they are equally essential to music playing. Before giving a student a piece of music to play, I will always play it befoehand and dissect the song into portions that I feel need special attention. I encourage playing with other musicians, and always try to teach the art ofimprovisation, so that the students can learn to play not only by themselves, but with other musicians, using the musicial understanding that it takes to improvise.
