My Teaching consists primarily of allowing the "Student" to play and perform during the lesson time. It is about the student.. after all. I am there simply to guide and direct the student. If they come upon an area in the music that has intricacies that they are unable to overcome, I am there to assist. Another Method I find that works well is simply "Presenting the Information". I am a 42 year old Male instructor, who has lived in Seattle since 2006. Moving from the Southwest, I am currently a professional music instructor and performer.. I began teaching in 2008, shortly after beginning my studies at the University of Washington. My private students have ranged from total beginners to advanced, each one presenting a unique set of interests and abilities to work with. In addition to teaching my own students, I have much experience as a substitute percussion teacher at Northshore Junior High School (Kingsgate, WA) and Spotlight Studios (Woodinville, WA).
