My teaching experience has been for as long as I've been playing. Before studying any particular type of pedagogical approach, I've always had the gift and desire to share what I know with others. Formalized study has simply given me specific nomenclature for things. My teaching style is adaptive to each individual student's strenghts and weaknesses. I create lesson plans based off of skill level and learning type.Everyone learns at their own pace, and I make sure to cater to those individual needs.I am an educator who strongly believes in the power of music education, and how it relates to other aspects of life. I believe a fun environment is the first step in education, and through the proper balance of hard work and fun the students goals will be met. Read More

Books are great for learning and seeing new material, but they don't do much for a performance, writing parts or learning songs. Read More

Instruments: Drums

I have toured many times in both rock and metal projects. This expereince helps me in preparing my students for live performances if they wish to go this route. My marching expereince can help my students who are interested in marching or concert band. I have worked with many students who want to take their marching skills to the next level. Speed drumming is one of my personal forte's. As such, I can assist the student in developing a unique ability to play at any speeds comfortably. Read More

It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.
