My teaching experience dates back to when I was an undergraduate.  I began giving private lessons to younger college and high school students.  Since then I have consistently taught students privatly either at my studio, at their home, or at a school. For beginners, I usually work with the beginning band books that are established by the public schools they attend. If they arent in band yet, then I would start them on the Rubank Elementary Methods book for Bb clarinet. The Rubank methods are my go to for all levels, beginner, intermediate, and advanced. For intermediate students, I also use the Melodious and Progressive Students and for advanced students, I work out of the Rose 32 etudes and 40 studies. Read More
