This usually involves speaking with the student in the first lesson/lessons to find out what specifically they want to learn or improve. Once I've figured this out, I begin to find repertoire or create exercises that challenge this student in the respective area of focus. Hello! My name is Eric, and I'm a multi-instrumentalist with the deepest history on trumpet. I began playing the trumpet at the age of 7, taking private lessons that I continued through high school with several wonderful teachers. I began playing in ensembles at the age of 9. I began playing the bass at 15, drums at 17, and guitar at 19. I now perform on all instruments.
