The more fun they're having, the more likely they are to stick to it. For adults, I keep this same philosophy in tact, but incorporate more technique, theory, and performance practice into our sessions in order to facilitate the learning curve. I first began teaching during my senior year in high school. Being in Marching band and excelling in classical guitar, both my peers and my teachers asked of me to provide some assistance. This led for me to teach as a tech during the Summer of 2011 and 2012's marching band season. After this I started to teach professionally.
