Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I first started teaching guitar as a junior in high school at Ted Brown Music in Richland, Washington. The summer I graduated high school I taught multiple week-long group beginner courses at The Academy also located in Richland where I also taught private lessons for a short time. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. As stated earlier.. My Method and "teaching style" is very centered on problem solving. I have found great success with my students when I teach them how to think and solve problems for themselves. Ultimately, my job is done as a teacher, when my students no longer need me.
