Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. My lessons are not built for me to tell the student what to do, but rather learn how they learn and research the best practices for reaching that student. I have been teaching trumpet since 1992. I began my private studio in Lubbock, Texas while I was attending Texas Tech University. I performed in the Tech band, as well as in a brass quintet made up of myself and local brass musicians from the Lubbock area. I performed many weddings and other functions while in Lubbock. I create my own custom lesson plans upon each students needs/wants. After an assessment of skills I create a plan to help the student harness in on the things that need work and polish the skill sets that are already there. Usually, I pick a good series of lesson books that we will work through together.
