I now teach music at the Boston Higashi School for students with Autism. I am still playing my trombone as well as teaching private lessons and I plan to give some recitals next year. I am also pursuing my other interests such as teaching ballroom dance. In the summer of 2022, he served as an artist fellow in the Atlantic Music Festival, giving varied performances in orchestral, chamber and solo settings. To fuse his dedication to performance with his interest in academic research, Tommy also presented a full lecture recital in the recent conference on cultural assimilation in music hosted by the University of Calgary.
