I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves sharing my passion for music and inspiring students of all ages. In 2018 I graduated from the Manhattan School of School of music with a Masters degree and prior to that, I received a Bachelor of Music degree from Queens College. I have been lucky enough to perform in some of New York's Most prestigious classical music venues such as Carnegie Hall and Alice Tully Hall along with some of its most well known pop venues such as the Bitter End and Rockwood Music Hall. Setting both long term and short term goals are important to students, and this would certianly be a long-term goal situation. In order for my students to achieve their goals in and out of lesson time, I assign practice and homework assignments for my students to work on for the following lesson. I first began teaching while attending Berklee. I would substitute teach for upper classmen in local music schools in the Boston area. After Berklee I taught full time for one year at a local music store. While attending MSM I taught group classes in New York City middle schools on Clarinet and Flute. After MSM I started my full time teaching studio where I was on faculty at 3 schools in the Westchester area. Read More

I have been teaching private lessons since 2011, during my time in college. I have taught a wide range of insturments ranging from woodwinds like clarinet and flute to brass insturments like trumpet and baritone. I encourage a regular and consitent practice schedule, since it tends to help students progress and gain a passion for their insturment.All of my stuents are encoraged to participate in any esemble and solo competitons that are available, so that they can gain new and exciting experiences. I am a passionate teaching musician whose practice spans classical training, jazz, beatboxing, improvisation, electronics and the avant garde. I graduated from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2011 with a Master of Music in Flute Performance. Since moving to New York in 2011, I have had the privilege of performing with musicians from the Bang on a Can All Stars, Juilliard, eighth blackbird, the Eastman School of Music, ExhAust New Music Collective and Project Trio.
