Haeyoon is a graduate of the Hartt School of Music where she received Masters degree with a full scholarship under the Performance 20/20 program, a prestigious chamber-intensive program. She began her chamber studies soon after starting cello with her siblings and have performed in community events and ceremonies since. She is a winner of many competitions, including: the Regional Solo Ensemble Competition at the high school level, a series of first prizes at the Renton Young Artists Competition, the Marjorie Easley National Strings Competition, and the Individualis International Competition. Music is reviving for the soul, academically productive, and a lucrative choice of career if done right. My practice materials for beginner students are flexible. My journey into piano teaching began 2 years ago when I started working with a few adult learners. Since then I have had the opportunity to work with kids and adults of all ages and levels. Teaching is something I find incredibly rewarding and take very seriously. Watching a student progress and gain confidence is something that brings me joy and satisfaction.
