The curriculum that I use varies according to the various orchestral instruments, singing or piano, and of course according to the levels of ability. I have been teaching music for many years. I enjoy watching my students progress in the learning process. Always based on the student's individual needs and likes/dislikes. When teaching a lone student, one has to make a judgment call based on how this person learns, behaves, and interacts with music. For piano, I have used Hal Leonard books and John Thompson, and for the classical guitar, I have used Mel Bay and a couple of others. There is no guaranteed best method for every student - however, I will always use a combination of my best judgment for a student with something they are interested in. Read More

I'm a gentle person who believes in exposing my students to the best music, and bringing out of them the music they have within. The idea is to ease their frustrations, not add to them. As long as the student actually tries, I feel confident they will enjoy the wxperience and learn a great deal. Music is one of life's greaat pleasures and worth every bit of the effort required to do it well. Read More

I was blown away and I had to learn how to play bass guitar, which I did. I have traveled and performed around the world because of music. Read More
