I began teaching music lessons to my friends and peers who were beginning to take up new instruments(piano, bass, & guitar) when I was in middle school. At that time, I had developed a strong foundation in piano, begun learning trumpet in school, and self-taught myself the guitar. My voice lessons are tailored solely to the abilities and interests of the student. If they prefer classical repertoire, we work through various art songs in Italian, German, French and English, focusing on technique and diction. If they prefer musical theatre, we have fun with the acting side of it, while learning good technique. While I select pieces for students based on their skill level and ability to take challenges effectively, students are given the freedom to browse their own musical library or lexicon to perform music they enjoy or is moving to them. Since many modern songs can be found without sheet music or proper notation for each instrument, I arrange pieces and songs for students' instruments as close to the recorded version as possible.
