I base my teaching methods on the student I am teaching. For students that are children at a beginner level, I typically begin with the essential elements of creating vocal foundation which I draw from many sources. Once we have set a good foundation, we tend to begin working on repertoire that is appropriate for the level at which they are singing, using those songs as learning opportunities. I welcome students of all ages from five years and up. My teaching experience began over 20 years ago when I taught voice lessons to several of the choir students at Choctaw High School. I am passionate about music and about helping find the unique approach for each student. Music Theory is the language of music and I focus a portion of each lesson learning that language. I think it is important to incorporate both classical repertoire and music that is of specific interest to the student. Read More

I am a passionate musician "from the womb". I've sang since I was 4-years-old and began official training in school at 11-years-old. I started playing the violin just the year before that. I graduated with a worship leadership degree free Visible Music College in Memphis, Tennessee in 2020. I began lessons for piano my senior year of high school, and I continued training for about 2 years during in college. I have participated in All-State conventions in Florida and I have taught music lessons in Nepal, Ghana, and the Czech Republic as well. Read More
