My teaching experience does in fact date back to my college days at Berklee when I would give private lessons to my friends who were interested in learning more about music. Once I graduated I began working privately at the Amadeus Music school in Lexington Ma were I teach students ranging from 10-16. I encourage my students to audition for plays and shows, it grants them real world experience while allowing them the opportunity to have fun and put into practice the things I teach them in lessons. I look for interests in students and like to begin with correcting and introducing proper technique. Then I move into note recognition, sight-reading, eat training, and theory.
