Because every student has different levels of experiences, aptitudes, and learning styles, my teaching methods vary based on each student. Generally, I work with the student to come up with a set of goals to work towards achieving. I teach the fundamentals of the instrument through learning songs that are of interest to the student. In 2008 I graduated from University of New Orleans with a masters in jazz guitar and I have been playing guitar since I was 6 years old. I toured professionally in a band for 4 years playing 200 shows a year. I have experience teaching at college level high school level and grade school level. Ive played every style from Jazz to rock to metal. I really like teaching and im easy-going!
