Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! Therefore, it is important that each student progresses at his or her own place. I encourage this by setting goals and assignments for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a student's desire to progress and makes students eager to learn more. By trying to find out what inspires the student, I can successfully tailor my instruction to their wants and needs. Read More

I have been teaching as a side-gig and hobby for almost as long as I've been playing! It started with friends in the neighborhood approaching me for advice on how to get started playing guitar. For beginning students who wish to learn how to read music, I typically start with the Berklee Method Phase 1 book by William Leavitt. This book is great and gets you playing in no time while learning the fundamentals of music. For adults or more advanced students, I want to help guide the student in their interests. The student's level of technical ability will be assessed and exercises to improve technique will be stressed as well as learning scales, chords, and songs helping the student to increase their ability and repertoire. Later I deepened my studies on the 7-string nylon guitar and also on the semi-acoustic guitar, especially in the language of jazz and blues. I completed a bachelor's degree in popular guitar at the most prestigious institution in the city of So Paulo, FASM. Read More
