I use performance, recitals, school and church concerts and festivals, etc. to foster musicianship. I'm passionate about encouraging students to be self-motivated in their pursuit of music. In 2013 I graduated from The Florida State University with my Masters in Music Composition and Theory. I have had the opportunity to write and perform original compositions for solo guitar and various ensembles utilizing the guitar, as well as various chamber ensembles and symphonies. While teaching at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY, I have had the opportunity to work with a number of undergraduate and graduate students on guitar, with genres ranging from contemporary worship music to jazz, bassa nova, and solo fingerpicking styles.
