As students grow in ability and age, I engage their interests more so their instruction is more fulfilling. Again, analyzing some music together that the student is interested in is part of the process. Music theory will be discussed! Theory will not dominate the conversation unless the student shows a high interest for this. Some basic theory as it related to chords, chord progressions, scales, and music in general will certainly be beneficial. I am careful to choose the appropriate music for each age. if there is a child, for me is very important the relationship with the parents, because they know a lot of goals from the child.
