I aim to tailor my lesson plans to each students unique goals. The methods I use differ based on each persons aspirations and learning habits. I believe that the cello can be a beneficial addition to anyones life, whether it is being played for recreation/therapy, to explore and enjoy great music, or to challenge oneself and build discipline through rigorous practice. When I first graduated from college, I began teaching private violin and piano lessons. At the same time, I was trained in the Kindermusik creative arts program, and soon thereafter founded Kindermusik of Western Connecticut. While teaching music, art and dance to pre-schoolers, I became more aware of the unique learning differences between children. This inspired me to explore the field of music therapy.
