Each student's age, developmental level and previous experience is carefully assessed prior to determining the method that a student will begin their learning with. As each student progresses, the method may be altered depending upon his/her individual learning needs. Before I entered college, I was the co-founder and former director of the Wilton and Congers Roots of Music Camps, where I led a team that provided free music instruction to young instrumentalists for three years. I teach each student at their own pace, and together the student and I will set realistic goals both week by week, and long term ones that should be achieved by the end of a month or perhaps six.
