For beginning students I will start with fundamentals, music theory and basic music reading lessons. For more advanced students I teach those same methods but will also apply improvisation and song writing to the lessons with my own “4 Steps to Song Writing” method. I have a variety of methods that I use to teach students.  I have used many Hal Leonard's band and guitar books, I use a wide variety of materials so that the students can achieve their goals. There is always new material coming out and I will also write my own technical exercises if the student needs them.
