My love of music gos back to when I was a child. I was lucky enough to have support and encouragement through my parents and friends. I was fortunate being exposed to all kinds of music as a high school student in the early 90's. I went to Berklee College of music in Boston, MA from 1996-1997. The most rewarding experiences have been watching my students develop a passion for their instrument and cultivate their own voice as a musician. By reinforcing fundamentals as well giving as a thorough, detailed explanation of the hardware and tendencies of the saxophone itself, each week I encourage the student to take the primary role in their progression.
