Hello! I'm Charley, a professional musician, songwriter and educator currently based in Northeastern Pennsylvania. I studied electric bass at Berklee College of Music and have spent the last 15 years touring the world with various groups and working as a studio musician. I am a bassist by trade, but am fluent with guitars, piano, saxophones, auxiliary percussion and a wide range of analogue and digital synthesizers. I am a driven player who believes ardently in the practice of fundamentals and the accuracy of intonation. I auditioned for the U.S Army Band in 2004 and spent 10 years traveling with the group. During this time, I played venues all over the world, including Japan, Korea, Germany, and Iraq among others, and learned to play many different styles of music. I'm very passionate about teaching and love to work with all ages of students. I had a studio in Mountain Top, PA for 25 years until our family moved to Utah. I recently relocated to the Lehigh Valley. I've performed with many orchestras and have coached many students to be able to compete and perform at Carnegie Hall for many years.
