Performing with my favorite musicians and releasing my own music has been some of the greater experiences of my life as a musician, and I've had the opportunity to play with my biggest influences and call them my colleagues. For beginning students enrolled in their school band program, I start with their materials required from class. If a student is not enrolled in a band program, I typically start with Standards of Excellence or Measures of Success methods depending on individual needs. I will also suggest additional methods of scale and repertoire study as students progress for solo performances. For beginning piano students, I use the Alfred Basic Piano course. Read More
