I am a current VCU student in the Musical Education course of study with an interest in teaching younger and older students alike, with a focus on particularly reaching neurodivergent students. I'm currently a junior, with 10 years of viola performance and 8 years of violin performance. For beginner students or children, I typically start with bastien piano basic books and work our way through the books and fundamentals of music. Once they are ready, I will begin to introduce music they are more interested in and prepare for recitals or performance. For adults, I tend to gauge their interest levels and see what they want to accomplish through their lessons.
