Elementary thru High School students learn through a hysterical curriculum complete with unique personalities, ghosts and animals. My Adults, for which there is no age limit, are always astounded by what they can play in a short amount of time! In addition I have seminars and short courses for specific focus training for pianist, organist, as well as soloists, choirs, choir directors and vocalist. And all have the flexibility to adapt to the goals and personality of the learner. Read More

As I previously mentioned I believe that every student is unique in how they learn, their musical goals, the time they have to devote to music, etc. Having the luxury of teaching one to one enables me to teach the individual. In addition to teaching conventional music theory, reading, writing, et al, I also teach improvisation and playing by ear. I've known musicians who are incredible technicians - they can play any piece of music put in front of them perfectly. Read More

We focus on technique first, but my students get to choose the style of music they would like to learn! Whether that be musical theatre, pop, RB, Jazz, Blues, Gospel, Rock, Classical/Opera, students are cultivated to bring out the best in their voices. If a student isn't having fun in their lessons, then I'm not doing my job! My students are encouraged to enter competitions and recitals, as well as auditioning, so they can feel good about their accomplishments and stay motivated to learn. Read More

I encourage Jr High High School students to be involved in competitions and summer camps, and make sure they know that their success is mostly dependent on their dedication to the craft. Read More
