I've been teaching and leading sectionals for four years now, and have taught lessons on both fiddle and voice! It's an honor to be able to spread the love of music to students, as music has changed my life. Consistent practice is important, but so is finding what the student loves to practice. Music should be fun, even as it's hard work! I taught Elem./Secondary Music for 30 years in IA and CO. As of this writing, I have been teaching private piano lessons for 35 years. I also served as Colorado (CMEA) State Chair of Elem. General Music and directed award-winning children's choirs, even piloting and hosting various regional honor choral music festivals along the way.
