My teaching experience starts back to my beginning years of college days. I start began teaching as private lesson instructor at my previous college community music school. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. I've been teaching music for more than 12 years now. I can honestly say that I enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge of music. Not everyone can say that they truly enjoy their job so I feel blessed. I have taught hundreds of students ranging from ages 4 to 80! I have taught individuals, groups or online lessons. I don't have many official teaching experiences, except for my student observing classes. For a class we had to drive to some middle school and high school for a year, attend about 4hrs and help the bands in these schools. I was able to help at Robstown High School and Seale middle school, and got the opportunity to help their clarinet sections as much as possible. I also attended HMK High school and Gillette Middle School, here I was able to work with all instrument players but focus more on music theory. Read More

I started teaching and touring as a guitarist at 16. I have been extremely fortunate to have toured around the world with several artists, in front of huge crowds, played on tons of records and taught hundreds of students. Over the many years I've been doing this, I have seen my students passion grow for their instrument which only pushes and motivates me to grow as a teacher.
