Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I began teaching music lessons over a decade ago while I was as a junior in high school and continue to teach to this day. While studying music at Umass Lowell, I taught for two years at the local music store, University Music. There, I worked with a diverse array of students from toddlers to adults, many of whom spoke english as their secondary language. I give a very good foundational approach to the learning experience. For example, I teach students how to find the notes on the guitar and the bass. From there on the guitar, I teach the open string chords. On the bass, I give fingering exercises and patterns to work on. With the chords, we look at simple songs to play. On the bass I show them how the bass lines work with songs. Read More
