Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.
lessons are available in the following areas:
Instruments: Guitar, Bass Guitar, Ukulele, Electric Guitar, Classical Guitar, Acoustic Guitar
For Children and Young Adults, I like to recommend Jerry Snyder's Guitar School Book 1. If the student is a young adult or older, and has an interest in classical guitar, I recommend Scott Tenant's Pumping Nylon, Book 1. Overtime, I will begin to provide or suggest repertoire to learn. The great thing about Classical music, is most beginner to advanced repertoire is free and available in just a few clicks. Same goes for other styles, as they tend to include tableture, which I am also proficient in teaching. Read More

I love people and I love music. My gift is teaching, and I think about it all the time. It gives me great joy to share what I have with you. I teach all aspects of brass playing: air control, embouchure development, articulation, tone, range, and musical interpretation of all styles. I teach a complete understanding of the guitar fretboard. I incorporate music theory and an understanding of chord structure in all lessons, and for all instruments that I play and teach. Read More
Instruments: Piano, Guitar, Synthesizer, Keyboard, Electric Guitar, Classical Guitar, Acoustic Guitar
It's all about having a clear goal in mind and working towards it: we'll have conversations about objectives and musical preferences (classical? jazz? rock and pop?) and then develop goals based on those preferences (playing live? what kind of pieces/songs?). Once I have an idea of where the student wants to be, I share my lesson plans with them and tell them what particular exercises or songs/pieces will fit those goals. Read More
Instruments: Guitar, Bass Guitar, Ukulele, Mandolin, Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar
I try to incorporate music that the student likes in to the lessons. I feel that a student is much more likely to practice a song when they truly enjoy it. Read More

For both voice and guitar, I begin with evaluation of where the student is. I then discuss with the student to realize what their goals are, and why they want to progress in this field. I then assign daily exercises that the student can utilize to begin to build control and virtuosity with their instrument. We will then collaborate to begin choosing repertoire to work on, and find music that makes the student enthused to practice in-between our sessions. Read More
