Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. My teaching approach begins by meeting the students where they are in regards to musical capability. We soon push the boundaries of what they think they are capable of and allows them to apply the music theory in real time. My first teaching experience dates back to 2004. I started teaching at the Kathryn Brickell School for Music. on Long Island, NY. Since then, in between recording and touring, I have never stopped. Having clear set goals and a gameplan to achieve it is what I emphasize most for students at any age. I began helping and tutoring fellow guitar students way back in high school. If they were having rhythm problems or trouble figuring out a chord progression, I could usually help. I taught a bit in college. I was the music theory tutor for a while, and I also took a guitar pedagogy class that involved taking on students. I think above all else, the passion for music and growth is important to maintain in a learning environment.
