I am a multi-instrumentalist seeking to share my talents with the world! I graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2016 with a Master of Music degree in Music Therapy and in 2012 graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Music in Oboe Performance. I love performing music, teaching music, and providing music therapy services. As they love what they are doing and how well they are succeeding, student often develop a wanting to put more and more work into their playing. I show encouragement for their accomplhments, yet also discipline to make sure they are on the correct path. I am the conductor of the flute choir during the Mississippi Flute Festival every summer. I am currently 29 years old, hold a degree in flute performance from USM (Danilo Mezzadri, professor), a masters degree in wind conducting from the same institution (Thomas V. Fraschillo, professor), and a D.M.A. in orchestral conducting with Carlos Riazuelo at LSU with a minor in choral conducting (John Dickson, professor). I have over 30 years of teaching experience. I began teaching Music right out of college, instrumental, vocal and general music classes. As a Pastor I still directed musicals and I taught drumers how to play drumset and required them to play for my ministry once they were good enough. I spent many years making my living at teaching instrumental music privately in schools around the area I was pastoring. I was in charge of weekly instruction for seven students, conducting both classical and commercial seminars, and leading Jazz Band and Small Group.
