I am a multi-instrumentalist seeking to share my talents with the world! I graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2016 with a Master of Music degree in Music Therapy and in 2012 graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Music in Oboe Performance. I have given lessons before when I was in high school. Each student works and learns at their own pace. For beginners, the basics are explored. As they grow more confident we work on more particular subjects like tone, scales, proper breathing. Practice is a must, the will not get anywhere they want to be without constant practice. Currently I conduct after school music programs at the University of Memphis Campus School, CTK Lutheran School in Memphis, and Incarnation Catholic School in Collierville. I typically structure my lessons based on each individual student and their level of commitment. Some of my students want to go to college for music performance, and others just want to sound better in their school's band. I take that into account when choosing particular warmups and repertoire. I was in charge of weekly instruction for seven students, conducting both classical and commercial seminars, and leading Jazz Band and Small Group.
