Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I have played in many different churches in the South East Region where I developed my ear for Gospel, Jazz, Rock, Funk and even Classical music. Over the past fifteen years, I have helped conduct workshops and assemblies that cover information about the steelpan and music from around the world, including calypso, soca, jazz, Hawaiin, reggae, and afro-cuban styles. These events have taken place at, but are not limited to the following venues: libraries (for summer reading programs), summer camps, schools and even day care centers. The way I approach teaching percussion is starting with an introduction and working through along the way. I usually teach in a way that allows the student to be able to perform freely. At first, I work with them and show them how to play a certain rhythm and then I allow them to play it on their own.
