I am a Music Educator with a lot of trumpet playing experience. I have never stopped playing my trumpet. I practice my trumpet as time permits and perform every chance I have. I like to travel and study musical styles and instruments from different countries. I also love the outdoors. I am passionate about instrumental music and want my students to feel the same. I am a graduate of Texas Tech University. I began teaching privately in 1985 on the Lubbock ISD Music Tutorial Program. I went into the schools and taught students privately during class hours. I taught Tuba and Baritone Horn. In 1989 I began teaching with Lubbock Parks and Recreation in the community centers. This was more generalized. I taught Band Instruments, Voice, Guitar, Music Theory, Beginner Piano, Beginner Strings.
