I have been teaching music for the past 25 years. First in the Public Schools in Tennessee and Florida and at the college level. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. I have been teaching for about 10 years now, both privately and in various music lesson stores throughout the Tampa Bay area. I have taught students ranging from 5 to 60 years of age. My students have been accepted into Blake Performing Arts High School, All County Orchestras, Tampa Bay Youth Orchestras, Tampa Metropolitan Youth Orchestras, and even Florida's All State Orchestras.
