Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. My teaching style allows students to go at their own pace. I will work to set realistic goals with them at each lesson and acknowledge accomplishments as these goals are met. I encourage the students to have a notebook with them during lessons so that we can document assignments, goals, progress, and accomplishments. Sight singing, aural skills, music theory, and efficient practice techniques will all be at the forefront. I will use a combination of sight singing exercise books and real literature to help my students fine-tune their choral singing skills at an individual level.
