I move at a very quick pace, but I have my students set their own goals. While I will select the literature for the student, I want them to feel successful when they are working with me. For voice I create my own custon lesson plans and use a variety of materials. Students will work on a great variety of repetorie from pop to renaissance. Students are encourgaed to learn to read music, with a great emphasis placed upon practical music theory. I aim to develop intellegent musical artists, foscuing upon intrepretation, critical thinking, historical considerations and creativity. For piano I general use the Faber and Faber method books unless I feel that a particular method would better benefit a specific student. Read More
