I'm a professional music instructor, who's able to be creative, capable to interpret music with feeling, love to work with students, very patient, and knowledgeable. I'm an expert in violin and piano performance and instruction. I create a unique and comprehensive Lesson plans for each student. I teach beginner to advance levels for very young or adult students by conducting both in person or online lessons. Along with teaching how to play an instruments I also teach theory at the same time, because I find that it's highly nessesary to understand how to read, count the rhythms, and many more about music. I trained classically for almost six years, and then branced out to old-time, celtic, and bluegrass fiddling. I performed in, and won, several fiddle contests throughout high school, but then discovered jazz and improvisation, and found my true calling. I have performed with a wide variety of groups, from traditional bluegrass to country-punk, from folky singer-songwriters to a hip-hop group, and love nothing more then creativly interacting with others, adding my own voice to whatever else is going on. My teaching style is fun, intriguing, and never boring nor dry. I believe that music lessons should never feel like a shore, instead they should stimulate your brain! I have an interactive yet focused style of teaching. I can(but don't recommend) to use the Suzuki method. I feel that all aspects related to the instruments weigh much importance in teaching the student. However, with the Suzuki method, the student's primary focus is to learn pieces rapidly and climb the level of difficulty as fast as possible. This prevents him/her to fully understand and analyze the piece and lesson and it can also turn the student away from pursuing the instrument further. Read More
