I graduated from Grambling State University with a Bachelor of Music Education and a Masters of Music from Jackson State University. It all starts from fundamentals such as having good posture, listening to correct intonations, and learning bow technique. I believe the more students play scales and etudes such as Kayser, Wolfhart, Kreutzer,and Suzuki, the better they would become as a musicians in the future. As the students master the basics and get to know their violins, we'll move on to more advanced topics such as music theory and music history giving them all the knowledge needed to play complex pieces within just a few years of holding their violins for the first time. British/Canadian violinist, Freya C, combines a busy and varied performance schedule as a soloist, chamber musician and collaborative artist. She regularly performs in venues across the UK, which have included appearances at Royal Festival Hall, Cadogan Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall, as well as throughout Europe, in such concert halls as the Festspielhaus (Salzburg), Herculessaal (Munich), Sendesaal (Bremen) and Brucknerhaus (Linz). She has appeared as a concerto soloist on a number of occasions and has given many performances at the Edinburgh Fringe, Aldeburgh, Brighton Fringe and Salzburg Kammermusik Festivals. Read More
