Everyone has different expectations; some want to become proficient, while others want to become virtuosos, and I frame my lessons around the student's goals. I'm a young musician who has been working hard at the teaching game since I was 16. I've been playing piano for 18 years, cello for 14 years, and violin/viola/bass for 6. I'm studying Music Education to become certified to teach ensembles in schools. My personality is: fun, curious, honest, emotive, and playful. I became a self taught student in brass and piano and later was accepted as a Music major to West Chester University. During HS I became known as a trumpet soloist in Regional and State Bands and in the Salvation Army brass program a cornet soloist. Other times, the student is interested in learning a song for their own enjoyment, and that will guide the direction of the lesson.
