Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. In 2014, I began teaching students privately. I taught multiple students of different ages, with a range from early childhood to late adulthood. Most of my students were beginners, and we worked together for over a year. I have been playing viola for seven years and violin for nine years. I have worked with students that are in middle school up to high school. In high school, I played with the Kalamazoo Junior Symphony Orchestra in Michigan. Then I played with the Saint Mary's College String ensemble and the Notre Dame Symphony Orchestra, and went on tour with the NDSO, for a year. My repertoire usually composes of Hal Leonards's Essential Element,Hrimaly Scale Studies, Sevcik for Violin and Bowing Techniques, Suzuki School Violin Book and a show piece and a piece of the students choosing. I usually ask the student on what do they want to learn in the violin so i can adjust my repertoire for them. Every now and then I play some piece if the can recognize it and help them get motivated.
