Music lessons can incorporate a variety of approaches depending on student preference and abilities. Some students love to read notation. I encourage these students to develop auditory skills through imitation games and improvisation. Other students play by ear and prefer to memorize all pieces. In December of 2017 I finished my degree in Music Education at Brigham Young University- Idaho, and in August I begin my Masters Degree in String Pedagogy at the University of New Mexico.
