Hello. I am a graduate of University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign holding my Bachelors in Music Education and looking for opportunities to teach lessons to students. I specialized on the Euphonium in college and have extensive knowledge of the low brass family, but can teach all brasses. I of course love to sing, play, and even dance because music in all forms is a beautiful art. I was fortunate enough to receive partial scholarship to attend the DePaul University School of Music and concentrate my work there in Jazz Studies. During my time at the university, I had the opportunity to broaden my perspective on the trombone by studying with several of the trombone faculty. I spent most of my time working with Tim Coffman, but was able to work with composer and arranger, Thomas Matta, and Charles Vernon, the bass trombonist in the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Read More

I love music and teaching my students the art of creating music is one of the greatest experiences any person can achieve. I was born and raised in Florida where I received my Bachelor of Music degree from Florida State University and Master of Music degree from the University of South Florida, where I was also a teaching assistant in the trombone studio and a music appreciation course. I have experience performing and teaching in a wide variety of settings. While a music student at the University of Iowa, I performed with all three concert bands and two jazz bands as well as playing in orchestral and chamber settings. After graduating from Iowa with a degree in music performance and education, I performed with the Idaho Falls Symphony Orchestra as well as a ska/rock band.
