I use various methods depending on the age and personality of a student. Methods that I use most are Bastien, Schaum, and Agay. I am able to teach out of nearly any method, and sometimes use a combination of different ones. I focus on technic by doing five finger patterns, scales, chords, and arpeggios, each of which are introduced individually once the student reaches certain abilities.
