This is the basic pattern I use for all my students. I will adjust it depending on the age of the student. I like to start with the Christopher Parkening Guitar Method. Once basic note reading is learned the student will move on to easy solo repertoire; I want to introduce "real" pieces as early as possible to give a sense of accomplishment to the student.
