When I think about a student learning wintry to put myself in there shoes. They want to feel like they have something to show for the time that they were the class session. . if we have an hour session and at the end of the session they can go out and show off what they learned then they will. It be as motivated to come back.... If I notice a student has a peculiar method of approaching the fundamentals, but it isn't leading the down a bad path, I will help facilitate their unique approach while guiding them toward mastery of the concept.
