I started to play the guitar when I was 12 years old and have been actively teaching and performing since I was 16 years old. I began teaching in high school, helping my fellow guitar players and others in band and jazz band. While I select pieces for students based on their skill level and ability to take challenges effectively, students are given the freedom to browse their own musical library or lexicon to perform music they enjoy or is moving to them.
