Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. My experience in teaching dates back to my time in college, where I coached a few music education majors on the flute. Since then, I have offered my expertise towards community flautists, Emeritus band flute players, and a wide range of percussion and flute students. My educational background includes a Single Subject Teaching Credential, and a Bachelor and Masters Degree in classical and jazz studies. As an educator, I have produced outcomes of first place awards with superior ratings in instrumental music festival/competitions local and statewide. In 2003 I established Knights of Music Foundation Inc., a non-profit organization to provide music literacy after school to children attending public elementary schools that do not provide instrumental music as part of their curriculum. I believe every concept learned in lessons should be manageable and allowing for steady advancement towards attainable, realistic goals incrementally lesson to lesson.
