I believe that a set of expectations on the student is required to keep them motivated, but I am never upset or disappointed if they don't practice enough. I enjoy the excitement of a first-time student making their first sound to sight-reading duets with more experienced students. I started a flute choir at a local high school and would love to start one of my own at my studio.
